Pitta Pizza

Ingredients:

1 pitta bread (preferably whole wheat pita)

2 tsp ketchup or tomato paste

2 cheese slices

Toppings:

salted cheese, olives, mushrooms, corn, pineapple, tomato or pepper, for example.

Method:

1. Heat oven to 180C.

2. slice the pitta so create two identical circles.

3. spread each half with 1 tsp ketchup or 

tomato paste 

4. place a slice of cheese on each half and top with your favorite toppings.

5. place in the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Ingredients:

fruit juice (orange juice for example)

sliced fruit

popsicle sticks

disposable cups (or ice-pop molds)

 

Method:

1.Staff the cups full with fruit and then pour the fruit juice.

2. Place the stick in the center of the cup.

3. Freeze for at least 8 hours and up to 4 days.

4. If you cant pull the popsicle out of the cup, try placing it in a bowl with warm water for 10-20 seconds.

Fruit Popsicle

Ingredients:

oil 

2 slices of whole wheat bread

2 eggs

salt

biscuit cutter\glass

 

Method:

1. Press a hole in the center of the bread using the rim of the glass or the biscuit cutter.

2. Heat a skillet and add the oil.

3. Fry the bread slices and flip them over

4. Crack each egg into the center of the hole in each bread.

5. Keep frying until the eggs are cooked.

6. Take the slices of bread out and sprinkle some salt on each egg.

Egg-in-a-Hole

ingredients (changing depending in season):

2 oranges\pears

2 apples\peaches

2 bananas\plums

1 cup orange juice

other fruits that you like

Method:

1. Wash the fruit

2. Chop the fruit to little pieces

3. Place all the chopped fruit in a big bowl

4. Pour in the orange juice

5. Mix everything

Fruit Salad

Ingredients:

2 tomatoes

2 cucumbers

onion

1/4 cup lemon juice

1.5 tsp olive oil

salt and pepper

cheese, parsley, pitted olives (optional)

Method:

1. Chop the vegetables and place in a large bowl.

2. Season with salt and pepper. 

3. Drizzle olive oil and mix everything.

Vegetable Salad

Ingredients:

avocado

1/2 onion

lemon juice

salt and pepper

 

Method:

1. Peel the avocado with a spoon and discard the seed

2. Chop the onion

3. mash the avocado with a fork

4. Place everything in a bowl.

5. Add some lemon juice and mix
